Plaster Casting

Well, I'm pooped with a capital P!

I've been on the go ALL day but feeling

 very satisfied with today's creativity.

Clay square and koru...

...ready for the plaster of paris.

Into an ice cream container it goes.

Measuring out the plaster. 1000 grams to be exact.

 Measuring out the water, 800 mls

 ..which gets tipped into a bucket.

Add the plaster of paris...

 ..and stir with your hand until all the lumps are mixed in.

 When it's nice and smooth and well-mixed..

Pour over the clay mold and allow to set.

 After 1 hour it's ready to turn out.

 Carefully remove the clay before it's dries..

..and Ta Da! I love my koru casting!
